D.Bethel
co-creator, illustrator & writing credits
D.Bethel took to the pen and paper being inspired by reading X-Men and Image comics in the 90′s era of Jim Lee’s muscle-bound mutants with muscles popping off muscles beneath an army of pouches. See some of those early sketches…
Bethel studied and then worked for a short time in animation before returning to study English at Cal Poly. He earned his Master’s in English (Composition and Rhetoric) at California State University, Sacramento in 2012.
Some of his favorite creators include: Darwyn Cooke, David Mazzucchelli, Eric Powell, Doug TenNapel, Paul Pope, Jeff Lemire, and the current Prophet crew: Brandon Graham, Simon Roy, and Giannis Milanogiannis.

Eben E.B. Burgoon
Co-Creator & Lead Writer
Burgoon has always been a James Bond fan and enjoys spy-fi comedies like Get Smart and Spies Like Us. His interest in espionage and intelligence lead him to study International Relations in college, while his comedic snark led to the study of scene and fiction writing, and to directing and performing in improvisational comedy groups.
He is currently residing in Sacramento, California and trying to stay as creative as possible.
Mr. Burgoon favorite comics include: Tintin, Red Son, Old Man Logan, CHEW, The Sixth Gun, Cowboy/Ninja/Viking, & Calvin & Hobbes.
Get to know his other projects including developing a new comic, B-Squad, beer blogging, and ebenburgoon.com.

How’s it going, I’m a frequent reader of eben07, and i actually met you guys at a comic shop in downtown, just wondering if you guys ever collaborate or have guest illustrator for the covers?
cheers,
Fernando
Hey Fernando – Glad you’re enjoying the comic – if you’d like to contribute in some way, we examine those at a case by case basis and tend to ask people we know and trust and are somewhat familiar with their work.
Feel free to email me directly about it!
