Eben E.B. Burgoon has been writing for comics since 2007.  He co-created Eben07: Covert Custodian, an espionage-humor webcomic about the janitors who clean the mess left behind by super-spies, and now is focused on his new project, "B-Squad: Soldiers of Misfortune", which follows the ongoing adventures of a misfit group of mercenaries sent on equally dangerous and ridiculous missions.

Burgoon was an Editor’s Choice pick for SNR's Best of Sacramento for his work in comic books in 2013, collaborated with the Crocker Art Museum to start an annual “Crocker-Con”  comic book showcase, was part of the inaugural Sacramento Arts & Business Council’s Flywheel Creative Economy Incubator, and orchestrated a successful Kickstarter campaigns for B-Squad.

Eben studied international relations at Chico State and he minored in creative writing. He founded a Chico State improv troupe in 2000, studied sketch comedy writing with Chicago’s Second City, and performed in long-form improv shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004.
Burgoon is an avid lover of animation, television, and film.

He was responsible for developing and teaching a comic book program to teach elementary aged kids the fundamental of comic book writing, pitching to professional artists, and creating a comic book of the resulting collaboration. He's now taught over 250 elementary aged kids and 100s of adults techniques for creating and writing their own comic book ideas.

He is based in Sacramento, CA.

Being a fan of biting off more than he can chew and trying new things, Michael Finn decided to help out a buddy and letter the first issue of B-Squad. After completing the first page he was hooked and has been falling in love with fonts and comics ever since. He has been lucky enough to be kept on as B-Squad’s letterist as well as working with local Sacramento writer, David Andry, and Sacramento’s premier literacy nonprofit 916 Ink. In his free time you might find him climbing tall rocks or, just as likely, consuming online media in a binge-like fashion.
