This declassification series pertains to an archaeologist of some renown that ICA founder Abel
was following for cleaning at the request of the United States Army Intelligence in the mid 1930s.

Declassification Notes

The visit by Mr. Smith of the Smithsonian Institute did not go well – and this event in the warehouse started a massive feud between the two organizations that still rages even today.

It seems the monocled Mr. Smith left that day and began his own organization that would go on to attempt to recover and display
events that Abel’s still young Intelligence Cleaner Agency would be assigned to clean. World War Two shortly followed this blow to Mr. Smith, and left Abel struggling to keep up with the new found demand for his services. It proved quite hard for him, he even lost his close associate Danjuro – who left his side after the United States began their internment of the Japanese.

Perhaps someday down the road these things will be put into our declassified comic form for you all to see. It is a pretty sad story. However, I have been authorized to tell you that the Smithsonian Historic Intelligence Troupe (HIT) -although that is not what we call them around the office – will make several appearances in future declassification series this year.

We plan to finish declassifying Operation: Goofinger (GOO) after Idols Unfit for Display (IDL) wraps up.
